Frequently Asked Questions: Film & TV Prop Currency Pack
Where can I buy film props in Australia for a cash scene?
You can buy film props online from PROPPS PTY LTD in Melbourne. The Film & TV Prop Currency Pack is curated for cash-handling, transaction and reveal scenes, with non-legal-tender SPECIMEN markings on every note. Orders ship by Australia Post Express with signature on delivery from Eltham, Melbourne VIC 3093, usually within 24 business hours of payment confirmation. The minimum order is $300 AUD. Delivery is free at $500 AUD and above, or a flat $20 AUD below that.
Are your film props for sale or for prop hire in Melbourne?
We sell prop currency rather than hiring it out. Buying means the notes are yours to dress, handle and reshoot with, and you never have to return cash that gets worn or marked during a shoot. Production companies can request wholesale pricing for larger orders.
Do you have movie set props for sale beyond cash?
Our specialty is cinema-grade Australian prop currency, so we focus on cash for scenes rather than general furniture or set dressing. If your art department needs notes in volume, we supply single stacks through to studio-scale quantities.
Is movie prop money Australia safe to use on camera?
Yes, when it is clearly marked. Our movie prop money carries mandatory SPECIMEN indicators and is printed on matte archival paper that avoids reflections. Use it only for production, never as real money.
Can production companies get film props for sale in bulk?
Yes. Film and TV productions can order bulk quantities with tiered wholesale discounts of 10% to 30% off. Pick a bundle size on this page, from a Starter Stack ($1,500 face value, $115 AUD) up to 100 Stacks ($200,000 face value, $14,000 AUD). Different denominations can be combined on one order. For studio-scale quantities, ask about wholesale tiers of 10% to 30% off.
